The new Toyota Urban Cruiser certainly packs a punch on the road, but is more than friendly on the wallet. The 1.33-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine delivers 51.4mpg, while the 1.4-litre D-4D diesel promises 57.6mpg. The diesel model is also the most environmentally-conscious all-wheel drive passenger car in the world, emitting just 130g/km of CO2.
The Urban Cruiser is also practical, with its compact dimensions making it ideal for zipping through city traffic and parking in the tightest of spots. Don’t let its small size fool you though. Inside, there is ample space to seat five and enough boot space for everything you could need for a day out or a weekend away.
The Urban Cruiser also comes with a decent amount of kit, ranging from climate control air conditioning and electric windows, to a push start button and optional satellite navigation.
